So they don't want to jump to any rash conclusions that someone maybe hated these people because they were Jewish? I remember when a Muslim guy shot an Israeli at El Al in LAX years ago. That too was suppose to be just random. It seems that if killing jews was elevated to the same status as calling a gay person a name then we might reflect on Muslims and their hateful and genocidal vitriole and perhaps "hate crimes" would ban Islam?
Very slippery slope once you start with this sort of nonsense.
